  1.  RSI, AFL, SPECTRAL  PARTY-REPORT #

  4. The  Red Sector,  Alpha Flight and#
  5. Spectral Party was visited by  the#
  6. following   Swiss   BRS - members:#
  7. CHESTER,  MAJESTIC,  COM,  TRUXION#
  8.                                   #
  9. We  meet  us  at  7:30 a.m. at the#
  10. station  in  Basle,  our hometown.#
  11. The  train for Luxembourg departed#
  12. at  8:21  and  so  we weren't in a#
  13. hurry.                            #
  14.                                   #
  15. At   11:57  we  arrived  in Luxem-#
  16. bourg.  We went to the Information#
  17. and   asked   them  how  to  go to#
  18. Echternach.  They  said that a bus#
  19. leaves  in  two  minutes.  We said#
  20. forget it (too much stress...) and#
  21. asked  for  the  next one. "In two#
  22. hours!" - we ran with  our  A 500,#
  23. the monitor and all other  luggage#
  24. to  the  bus  station,   where  we#
  25. finaly  found  the  bus.   So,  we#
  26. wanted  to  buy  the  tickets with#
  27. Swiss  money.  Of  course that did#
  28. not  work. So we had to change our#
  29. money  fast.  And  we  managed  it#
  30. again, in 2 minutes by the way!   #

  32. Arrived  at  Echternach (12:50) we#
  33. have been searching for the 'Place#
  34. de marchet', we had NO invitation!#
  35. It  wasn't  hard to find the place#
  36. but  nobody  was  there. IRATA/RSI#
  37. said  to  us,  that  there will be#
  38. some  guys  waiting  for us. Okay,#
  39. after  5 minutes of waiting, there#
  40. came   some   AFL   and   SPECTRAL#
  41. members.  The way to the party was#
  42. quite easy to find.               #
  43.                                   #
  44. At the party, there were about 150#
  45. until 200 people in front of their#
  46. computers. The room was in a hotel#
  47. and  a  little  bit  small  for so#
  48. many  computers and people. We had#
  49. problems  to get a free table but,#
  50. believe  it  or not, we have found#
  51. one!                              #

  53. Some  releses  coming  out  at the#
  54. party:   BRS-MegaDemo,   BRS-Zine,#
  55. Level 4 SoundDisk, Aeon SoundDisk,#
  56. demos  from  Vision  One  of Alpha#
  57. Flight,  demos from Spectral, Iris#
  58. MegaDemo,  and  some   other   un-#
  59. interesting stuff.                #

  61. The  following  groups were at the#
  62. party:  RED SECTOR,  ALPHA FLIGHT,#
  63. SPECTRAL,    IRIS,    SPREADPOINT,#
  64. ZYLON,  TRISTAR,  ABYSS,  LEVEL 4,#
  65. CULT,   BCI,   SUCCESS,  TWILIGHT,#
  66. CASCADE,  ABAKUS,  AEON,  EXTREME,#
  67. LAZER,  SUBSOFT,  TARKUS TEAM, TCS#
  68. of  ILLUSION,  TOM L, YOLK ROQUES,#
  69. MAD  MACS,  Dr.  MABUSE,  MIKE  of#
  70. VISION  FACTORY,...  and  a lot of#
  71. others.                           #

  73. First  of all we had to delete the#
  74. last  bugs  from the MegaDemo, but#
  75. I  think,  some  are  still  in...#
  76. ZINE  4  was  also  finnished  and#
  77. spreaded.  After  interviewing VF,#
  78. Tristar,  Dr.Mabuse/AFL, Tom L and#
  79. IRATA/RSI  (look in other articles#
  80. of  this  ZINE  issue)  the  demo-#
  81. competition began.                #
  82.                                   #
  83. The  demos  wereshown  on four TVs#
  84. and    stereo.    There   was   no#
  85. competition   for  our  Mega-Demo.#
  86. Only  some  AFL (Vision One) demos#
  87. and  a  Spectral  demo  were good,#
  88. too.                              #
  89.                                   #
  90. So,  we  won  the first price with#
  91. the   filled   vector   part  from#
  92. LUKE/BRAINSTORM,    2nd   was   an#
  93. ALPHA   FLIGHT  (Vision One)  demo#
  94. and  the  third  was the ball-demo#
  95. from  BIRD/BRAINSTORM.  We  do not#
  96. know   why  they  picked  out  the#
  97. parts   from   the  MegaDemo,  but#
  98. that does not matter.             #
  99.                                   #
  100. We  won a goblet, nothing special,#
  101. and a bottle of champaign.        #
  102.                                   #
  103. At  the  moment  we  wanted to go,#
  104. there   were  some  police-men  in#
  105. the  next  street,  so we began to#
  106. pack  our  things  faster and went#
  107. to  the  bus-station.  Arrived  at#
  108. Luxembourg  we  had  to wait three#
  109. (!) hours  for our train to Basle.#
  110. So  what  we  did  to  waiste some#
  111. time,  we went to the train-buffet#
  112. at  spend  our last foreign money.#
  113. The  trouble was the buffet closed#
  114. at  24:00  and outside it was very#
  115. cold.  And  added  to all that our#
  116. train  didn't  leave until 1:18 in#
  117. the  morning!  So  we  were kicked#
  118. out  of  the  warm buffet into the#
  119. cold street.                      #

  121. But  what  did  we see there, next#
  122. to  a  phone  booth there was this#
  123. big  puddle  (small lake) of blood#
  124. (no joke!!!).                     #
